Blog Post New Entry

Website update

Posted by CADS_WebMaster on April 7, 2010 at 1:35 PM

Hello!

As you can see I've changed some of the settings on this 'ere website to make it look a bit more slick and modern and trendy.

Actually, I just selected a template from the list of them provided by the website people.  It's easily changed to something else, so if you don't like this one at all!

If anyone would like to send me some pictures and some words about recent productions then I can make this site more up to date.

Let me know what you think of the new look, everything else is pretty much the same ;)

Thanks much!

Hi Peter B! Yes, the text is too grey, I have tried to change it but the site uses a standard template - all other aspects of the template are fine, its just the text that isn't - and I can't change just the text without changing the whole look of the site, unfortunately!

I did try hacking it using the manual update thingy, but it wasn't easy nor obvious how to change the text all over the site, just one page at a time - which is a pain.

So, sorry, its the best I can do at the moment. I may try other templates sometime when I have a moment.

Glad you like the site in general though!

I think the website is very professional. Some time ago, I was rude enough to mention the pale grey text and wonered if it could be darker (black even). Perhaps I am the only one to be concerned about it. It's still a brilliant website.

Brilliant Andy, are there any more piccies from AMFAS? I took some but what with nipping back to the lamproom to change the lights or bring in a sound effect mine are a bit ropey.
